I began studying yoga in 2003. I started my practice in hot yoga and Bikram. After being introduced to Anusara Yoga through Jason Lobo, I focused my studies in this method under the guidance of my dear teacher, Christina Sell.
Currently working toward my Anusara-Inspired certification, I study deeply with both Christina Sell and Senior Intermediate III Iyengar yoga teacher, George Purvis. You can find George at the BKS Iyengar Studio in Dallas. My classes are playful, clever, and challenging; they're athletic, spiritual, and therapeutic.
Lori Klinger has been a student of yoga since 2001. With a desire to deepen her practice, she began a teacher training program with Laura Tyree in 2004, where she studied Hatha yoga, anatomy, pranayama, meditation, and yoga philosophy. She graduated in Feb 2005 with her 200hr RYT certification and has been teaching since that time. In Jan 2008, she met Anusara Certified teacher Amy Ippoliti and knew instantly that Anusara yoga was her new path.
My Asana teachers are Christina Sell (Certified Anusara) and George Purvis (Senior Iyengar). I study Tantric philosophy with Dr. Douglas Brooks (Rajanaka Yoga) and have learned to imbibe and embody the nectar of chanting with Bhagavan Das.
My "how to be a human" teachers are my two sons, Caiden and Malakai.
My "how to be an animal" teachers are my two cats Freedom and Forever and my crazy dog Thunder.
My "how to be divine" teachers are me, you, and us and of course all of the above, and then some.....
