Why do we keep having the same relationships and getting the same jobs over and over again? In this infinite sea of potential, how come we keep recreating the same realities? Isn't it amazing that we have options that exist, but we're unaware of them? We've been conditioned to believe that the external world is more real than the internal world. This new model of science is just the opposite. It says what's happening within us will create what's happening outside of us.
- What the Bl**ep Do We (K)now?!
I have been practicing yoga for almost 30 years now, and teaching for about 9. I received my RYT through YogaFit and also trained with American Power Yoga. The blessings of this practice and these teachings have changed my life- my health, my attitude, my relationships. My deepest honor and joy is to share with others the many and varied benefits of the practice and I do so with the greatest humility and respect. I am grateful to my family, my teachers and my students for the lessons they teach me every day.
Kathleen Lohr, LMT and Ayurveda Bodywork Therapist, brings to DYC the skill and resources to support the Ayurvedic Lifestyle. Her practice, SweetOjas, has helped many people successfully adapt this beautiful ancient tradition to their hectic modern lives. "The profound state of balance and wholeness one feels after these treatments serves as a template for what is possible. Just as a committed yoga practice refines us on many levels, regular Ayurvedic bodywork guides us gently and surely to our natural state of harmony and well-being."
In 1996, i believe GOD had a plan for me that would change my life forever. I was in a serious car accident that forced me to re-evaluate my health. No longer could I continue running long distances and lifting weights, nor being a personal trainer and aerobic instructor. I had to find a healing lifestyle of staying well - YOGA!
