I began studying yoga in 2003. I started my practice in hot yoga and Bikram. After being introduced to Anusara Yoga through Jason Lobo, I focused my studies in this method under the guidance of my dear teacher, Christina Sell.
Currently working toward my Anusara-Inspired certification, I study deeply with both Christina Sell and Senior Intermediate III Iyengar yoga teacher, George Purvis. You can find George at the BKS Iyengar Studio in Dallas. My classes are playful, clever, and challenging; they're athletic, spiritual, and therapeutic.

I first truly came to the Dharma when I took Refuge in Vajrayana Buddhism. Seemingly coincidentally, within days I also began regular practice of Indian yoga asana as physical exercise for weight loss and back pain management. However, my initial experience was far more profound than exercise could explain, and it wasn’t long before I started entertaining notions of becoming a yoga teacher. I had no idea how closely intertwined my two new interests would become.
