AWAKENING TO MANTRA

When morning arrives and evening approaches it keeps time for us.

Among yoga practitioners these morning and evening transitions have been used for meditation. In ancient times yogis rose early preformed their rituals and recited mantras. In the evening the days fatigue was washed away with another series of mantras and meditation.

Join us Saturday afternoon to explore the ancient wisdom of mantra practice. We will discuss, practice and learn the art of mantra meditation and in particular the Gayatri and Maha Mrityunjai mantras. Mantra meditation can create a union between the vision and the practice of yoga helping us to bare our inner life and expose us to higher wisdom.
