The Mat Yoga Studio provides adults, 55 and up, an opportunity to become active in their community while improving their strength, flexibility and overall mobility. Our Senior/Chair Yoga class is designed to meet the specific needs of senior adults and is structured to benefit everyone at any level of health and fitness. Class will include a combination of stretching and breathing exercises designed to relieve stress, calm the mind and increase mobility, balance and body awareness. The Yoga poses uses are adapted for senior adults and are done either standing or seated. Chairs and props are provided to keep everyone safe and supported. There is no need to bring a Yoga mat.
