Event Description: 

Understanding sex hormones / stress hormones and their impact on health at various cycles in a woman’s life!

What are the doshas and how do they impact our hormonal balance and ease of daily living? Why should we care about standing on our heads or restorative yoga on a bolster? Why rub oil all over our bodies and take bitter tasting herbs? What is in it for us????

About this Presenter: 

Kathryn Templeton has devoted her life to the health of others. A psychotherapist for more than 20 years, Kathryn is a Master Teacher in the field of Drama Therapy and continues to work both clinically and as an educator specializing in the treatment of individuals with complex trauma. As an E-500 RYT and NAMA-registered Ayurvedic practitioner, Kathryn has worked to develop specialized treatments integrating the principles of yoga and Ayurveda with clinical theraputic techniques. Kathryn is currently a faculty member at the Himalayan Institute in Honesdale, PA, teaching courses on the Three Wisdom Traditions and Ayurvedic Yoga Specialist Training. In addition, she teaches in their 500-hour RYT program along with other yoga teacher training programs around the country and is an Adjunct Professor of Human Development and General Psychology in the Connecticut Community College system. She holds memberships with the International Association of Yoga Therapists, the National Association of Drama Therapists and the National Ayurvedic Medical Association.

Cancellation Policy: 

Registration fee will be refunded, less the $25 non-refundable deposit if a request is received before December 12, 2013. No refunds will be made after December 12, 2013 unless someone can take your place.

Exceptions to this policy cannot be made for any reason, including weather, traffic, illness, or personal emergencies.

Parking:

Due to Urban development, limited space and the exciting growth of Living Yoga Dallas events, we cannot guarantee a parking place per participant. Parking will be on a first-come, first-served basis, and we highly encourage you to carpool. Thank you in advance for your understanding.
