David Dhanvantari Tietje

David found yoga in 1994 while receiving chair massages at Whole Foods. He started practicing daily and attended classes at Unity Church and the Ananda center. David joined friends taking The Artist’s Way workshop and discovered yoga as his Art. He began teaching at Unity in 1996 and other places soon after. He received his 500hr Yoga Teaching Cert in 2005 through Namaste’ Int'l and in 2006 a friend invited him to attend a Vedic Thai workshop with Mukti Michael Buck. David found a purpose, knowing immediately that he wished to share this graceful, ancient practice. David now leads popular workshops in Dallas and beyond, teaching this beautiful, healing Vedic Thai Therapy as Instructor for the Vedic Conservatory, founded by his teacher, Mukti. David also teaches yoga at a local YMCA and the Rosewood Crescent Hotel in Dallas, Texas and hosts a Divine Masculine Men's group.

David and his partner, Leah Lila enjoy traveling and teaching together, presenting annually at Sedona Yoga Festival. They have created Relationship Evolution, a retreat seminar designed for Spiritual Growth through practice of Vedic Thai Therapy, Dance, Yoga, Breathwork, Laughter Yoga and Creating Sacred Space.
