Ginger Newberg
A lifelong passion for physical fitness and curious pursuit of the motivation behind human behavior brought me to yoga. The yogic message that "you are where you are and it's ok" and the non-competitive nature of the practice mesmerized me. And it was stunning to me that by embracing this mindset and continuing to practice, I could grow and go further than I ever imagined on and off the mat. Letting go, breathing, and laughing was all I need to do.
As a teacher, I strive to be compassionate toward everyone and offer a well-balanced physical and mental practice that is fun, non-competitive, supportive, and encouraging.
I continue to expand my knowledge and experience through independent study, practice, and the teachings of several well-respected teachers. I am so grateful for the daily lessons yoga teaches me, and the opportunity to share the joys of yoga with anyone who is open to it.
My Certifications:
200-hour Registered Yoga Teacher certification with Yoga Alliance through both AAAI and YogaFit. Other education, certifications, and licenses include B.S.
