Jeffry Farrell
Jeffry Farrell, MA, the founder and creator of Park Cities Yoga, has taught all ages in a wide variety of settings, including three years at New Haven's Arts Magnet Middle School, seven years at Dallas' Booker T. Washington High School for the Performing and Visual Arts, three years at the University of Texas at Dallas, and as a guest teaching artist at Yale University's undergraduate theatre program.
Since 2000, he has also led daily yoga practices, workshops and applied yoga therapy at Park Cities Yoga.
Jeff has an extensive background in movement, theatre, dance, physiology, mind/body studies, and of course, yoga.
He discovered yoga in 1978, reading and studying a range of teachers. In 1989, Kumar Pallana introduced Jeff to Vivekananda's Vedantic tradition, integrating breath and attention with the body and leading beyond these into the power of the mind and the "junction of everything".
In addition, Jeff's yoga is informed by practiced under David Life and Sharon Gannon, and Dharma Mittra.
