Karen Naseck

I began practicing yoga in 2000. In 2009, with my teachers an encouragement, I took a one day certification class that barely touched on all there is to know about yoga. Following that class, I attended an immersion weekend with Rod Stryker, Yoga Rupa in 2011. My eyes opened to yoga. In 2012 I became a 200 hour certified Regristered Yoga Alliance instructor. I am also a Certified Ayurvedic Yoga Specialist. After years of practicing, I can say that yoga has changed my life. Yoga has helped me along this journey of awareness and mindfulness which I am now embarked on. I teach gentle, vinyasa and restorative yoga in various private and class settings. I am forever grateful to my teachers and am most proud of teaching yoga to female inmates in a holistic program at the Dallas County Jail. I have a lively family life including three sons, a husband and a dog named Rain.
