Many of us turn to any number of healing arts during times of physical, psychological or spiritual crisis. Beginning a yoga practice served to ease a major transition in my life by helping me develop a subtle awareness of the body, the mind and breath.
The physical strength, self-awareness, and inner peace I’ve gained from a consistent yoga practice naturally led me to want to help others access these same qualities in themselves.
After six years of practice in Iyengar and Vinyasa yoga classes and workshops I completed my Yoga Alliance Registered 200-Hour Yoga Teacher Certification through the Alpha-Omega Yoga Teacher Training program in Dallas. I teach a weekly Vinyasa Flow class on Mondays at CHI Studio and also teach privately throughout the metroplex.
