Three exciting events!
VIEW
PHOTOS from this event
October 29, 30 and 31, 2004
Sammons Center for the Arts [Dallas, Texas]
Priya Yoga Studio [Lakewood area, Dallas, Texas]
Angela Farmer and Victor Van Kooten bring us back to the internal
wisdom of the universe which we hold in our bodies. They believe
the essence of yoga is to connect with a higher plane of spirituality
and awareness — to allow your heart, soul and mind to
open completely. Because the practice of yoga is centered
on the individual, it should be taught in an individual way.
In traditional yoga classes, the instructor orchestrates the
class into a series of poses. You're told how to achieve the
positions and how to hold them. There are not exceptions.
But the path to truth and spiritual freedom takes many turns
and twists. To expect you to travel this path with a "vehicle"
that is rigid and limiting is, in essence, preventing you
from reaching your goals. Learn

Manju Jois is dedicated to his
mission of training teachers and practitioners in the ancient
style of yoga, which combines the asanas, pranayamas and meditation
chants for a total mind-body-spirit unification with self
and God. Manju is honored to pass along all of the traditional
