THE WORKSHOP: Practical Integration - Bringing Yoga to Life
This workshop presents a step-by-step approach to increasing your self-confidence, your enthusiasm and the dynamic energy needed to get-it-done – be productive, insightful and compassionate. Blair will teach you how to harness the power of the vital force that nourishes both body and mind (prana) and channel it productively.
You will learn how the mind operates and the relationships between the body, breath and mind. Blair presents both the science and psychology of yoga in a manner that you will find accessible and sensible. These lessons will empower you to help yourself and your family to become happier and healthier. His systematic approach will provide you with a program for self-transformation that you can immediately apply in your life. This is the ultimate seminar for learning how to manage stress and boost self-esteem.
Both beginners and advanced practitioners of yoga will benefit from this presentation. Blair particularly welcomes your spouse, your teenagers and co-workers to this exciting, life-changing workshop.
ITINERARY (subject to change):
Friday evening, June 2, 2006, 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm
Yoga and Self-Transformation
As human beings were are all citizens of two worlds: the world within and the world outside. The science of how to build a bridge between these two worlds is yoga. This union brings an end to all fear and doubt. Self-transformation is the life-long process of creating this union between you and your world.
On this night, we will explore the yogic path of inner illumination and modern psychotherapy and how they share the same goals of happiness and enhanced self-esteem. While modern therapists rarely explore the higher purpose and meaning of life, this is precisely what we are trypcially seeking. Instinctually, you know that somewhere within you is the source of all solutions that you seek. Wonderful are those who pursue this inward journey, for when the student is ready the teacher will appear.
Questions that must be answered on the inward journey:
• Who am I?
• From where have I come?
• Why have I come?
• Where will I go?
