Event Description:

Yoga and Ayurveda: From Detox to Freedom
Friday and Saturday 9am-12pm and 2-5pm

In this two-day workshop, you'll learn about and practice Ayurveda's key teachings on yoga and how to get the most out of your yoga practice. Our focus is on yoga as alchemy: from detox, to purity, to empowerment, and to ultimate freedom. We'll make this ancient and time-tested wisdom practical and applicable, whether you are a teacher or evolving practitioner. Explore the principles of how to elevate your asana, transform your body and mind, tailor your practice to meet your ever-changing needs, and awaken your highest potential.  Each day includes two asana practices as well as meditation, lecture, discussion and an ayurvedic meal.

Master Class: Gheranda Samhita Immersion
Sunday 8:30am-11:30am

Explore and experience the depth of Tantric Hatha Yoga--and some of its secret teachings--in this 3 hour master class.  The Gheranda Samhita is one of the three primary texts of hatha yoga along with the Hatha Yoga Pradipika and the Shiva Samhita, and considered by many to be the most comprehensive.  Join Yogarupa for asana practice, meditation and lecture/discourse, all designed to highlight the essential teachings of this classic text and share its luminous and powerful wisdom.

Unconditional Healing Meditation
Sunday 11:45am, depart by 1pm

Tracee Stanley leads us through this traditional experience, intended to provide healing across space and time, to both the practitioner as well as the intended person or situation. This meditation is part of the tradition of the Himalayan Masters, passed down from Guru to student. We invite our local First Responders, Police Force, Fire Department and the families of our local heroes as we remember those we've lost and celebrate those we love.
