Yoga found me at the end of summer of 2005. I was going through a time of great grief when a kind friend took me to a powerful Vinyasa flow class at Down Dog Yoga in Dallas. I had never tried yoga before but, at least while I was on the mat, my mind was at peace. As an active player for the Dallas Harlequins Rugby Football Club, I came to embrace the physical benefits of daily asana. The practice transformed not only my physique but more profoundly, but my mind and soul.
