In 2000, I was working at a stressful job & needed some relief for my mind & my body. Over the years, I would go to other forms of exercise but I always came back to yoga. As a gardener & backpacker, I needed the stretches, strengthening & balancing practice to keep in shape to do the stuff I really love to do.
I teach a variety of yoga classes: Gentle, slower paced classes that focus on body alignment & the breath. These classes allow time for exploring postures & fine tuning how the posture feels for your body.
Faster, flowing vinyasa classes that are for yogis that have a good foundation of most yoga postures. We move with our breath from pose to pose while strengthening every part of the body.
Chair yoga for those who need the assistance of a chair. These seated postures allow for stretching & strengthening in the safety of a chair. Depending on the fitness level, we may move to standing to practice balancing postures.
All classes are designed to challenge the mind & body and still leave you feeling calm & relaxed.
I love each and every moment of every class. It is truly an honor to share the benefits of this timeless practice.
