Event Description:

Fascinated with weightlessness? Then master gravity! Rejuvenate the mind and body with challenging inversions and arm balances – Excite your spirit! Learn the fundamentals of lift-off, surf the air with grace and land nimbly with precision. Fun and exceptionally amazing!

Inversions and arm balancing poses are challenging, exciting, rejuvenating for the mind and body and fun. They encourage the circulation of blood and energy in the body and stimulate the endocrine and immune systems. Both arm-balancing poses and inversions develop mental and physical strength and flexibility, and challenge you to move courageously past your perceived limitations. This work of facing fears and moving past old barriers can have a significant impact in your daily life.

Inversions and arm balancing asanas also require core strength, spaciousness in the body, and an interest in playing with gravity. They are also fun and exhilarating when you learn how to change your relationship to gravity. In this workshop you will learn the fundamentals of lift-off, moving through the air with grace, and landing with precision and lightness. Ana will guide you through some of the basic asanas in Forrest Yoga that build core awareness, strength, and space. She will also teach advanced techniques for you to explore the edges of your practice with when doing these asanas. Gravity surfing is fun and exceptionally amazing.

Ana will be offering Gravity Surfing: a very special master class at Yoga Power Studio in Lakewood. This class will be limited in space and limited to Advanced/Experienced Yoga Practitioners and Yoga Teachers only.
