Yoga has been part of my life since my yoga first class in 1969 (I was practically a baby!) During my twenties, yoga postures, breath and relaxation techniques supported my body before and after long bicycle rides and runs, including training and running my first, and only marathon. During my two pregnancies, yoga helped me stay balanced and fit. After the loss of my father from a sudden heart attack, yoga helped me to reduce stress, anxiety and depression.

A move to Los Angeles in 2006 (and more stress!) inspired her to delve deeper into her practice and since, she has been inspired by teachers Max Strom, Seane Corn, Kathryn Budig, Bryan Kest, Daniel Stewart, Claire Hartley and countless others along the way. Gusti has been studying yoga and therapeutic yoga for over a decade.

In 2000, I was working at a stressful job & needed some relief for my mind & my body. Over the years, I would go to other forms of exercise but I always came back to yoga. As a gardener & backpacker, I needed the stretches, strengthening & balancing practice to keep in shape to do the stuff I really love to do.

I teach a variety of yoga classes: Gentle, slower paced classes that focus on body alignment & the breath. These classes allow time for exploring postures & fine tuning how the posture feels for your body.
