My teachers have shown me that following the path of Bhakti Yoga is a very sweet and practical way of living. The only requirement is that we give our hearts to the Divine, and all will be given to us in return. By drawing on my 15+ years of personal practice, I hope to share the innumerable gifts I have been given. On my own, and with my partners in The Kyari Project, we teach classes on texts in the Bhakti tradition such as the Bhagavad Gita, as well as seminars on mantra meditation and how to incorporate Bhakti into your daily life.

I started practicing asana (yoga exercise) and meditation during my first semester of law school at The University of Miami. Go Canes! From 2002-2008, I sought out yoga classes in every gym I joined, in each town my career took me to. Then I started studying yoga philosophy, and incorporating it as a lifestyle. Following my pursuit of knowledge, I attended a 200-hour teacher training program, at a hot power yoga studio, in the Fall of 2009.

I began practicing yoga in 2002, after quitting a corporate marketing job to stay home with my children. I was a Type-A person who needed something to help with stress, and yoga was the "cure." After several years of practicing, I decided to become a yoga teacher because I loved the way yoga had helped me physically and mentally, and that many of yoga's teachings were in line with my Christian faith. I received my RYT in 2007 and feel very blessed to be able to do something that I love, that helps others to lead healthier, happier lives.
