My teachers have shown me that following the path of Bhakti Yoga is a very sweet and practical way of living. The only requirement is that we give our hearts to the Divine, and all will be given to us in return. By drawing on my 15+ years of personal practice, I hope to share the innumerable gifts I have been given. On my own, and with my partners in The Kyari Project, we teach classes on texts in the Bhakti tradition such as the Bhagavad Gita, as well as seminars on mantra meditation and how to incorporate Bhakti into your daily life.

My yoga journey began after the birth of my son in late 2005. I was working in the corporate world and needed some “balance.” My practiced went through fits and spurts for sure. Much of my life I have been searching for something to make me whole. What I have learned through my practice is, that this is ME! I am not perfect but I am proud of who I am. I was drawn to yoga for children, initially, especially after I had my own. I was certified to teach kids in July 2012. I completed my adult certification at the Dallas Yoga Center in August 2013.

Following my pursuit of knowledge, I attended a 200-hour teacher training program, at a hot power yoga studio, in the Fall of 2009.
